Look at those! What are they called? Mizam bracelets. Where are they from? These came from the silver artists of Mauritania. These ornate hinged bangles feature silver spheres, prominent pyramids, etched cones and skillful etching all over. This pair silver bangles are whopping 244 grams. I'll add more information once I'm done reading, “Africa Adorned”, by Angela Fisher (p. 220).
