Mediterranean coral is loved all around the world. I’m not sure if it’s loved more in Nigeria, Tibet, or amongst the Navajo of the American Southwest. Every time I think “It’s the Navajo..” I’m stunned by another piece from Tibet. When I think it’s Tibet, someone in Nigeria has a wedding bracelet I wish I had. I guess the point is that it doesn’t really matter. In reality, thinking about the link between those peoples is more interesting to me. But I digress.
Four beautiful pieces of red coral jut out from the face of this piece. It’s basically a bangle with a split in the back, so by definition, it’s a cuff. However, it fits low on your wrist and not like a tighter fitting Tahe cuff, for example. It can be stacked with those, however. So it fits most wrists like a tennis bracelet, essentially.
To clean this piece, just wipe it with a damp cloth. If you want, you can use castile soap to give it a nice gleam before wearing it. I’ve said all I need to say about something of which I own two. That should tell you: I love this piece. Go for it.
