These rings are from either Nepal or Tibet, I’m not certain. If you know, please let me know. I want to credit the culture that has made one of my favorite styles of rings. I pasted this from the original listing, which I don’t normally do. That’s because I believe that if you’re going to purchase an item from me, I owe you typed words that express what I feel about the piece. But the message was important so grant me reprieve in this case. I can’t find different words for the same feeling.
In either case, this is size 8 at 16 grams. It’s a killer combination that finds purchase in cultures around the world. I own Balinese, Navajo, Tibetan, and Nepalese pieces with this combination. This style is special to me because I have more than one, which makes for a cool “two rings of the same type” combo I like to do sometimes.
The work on this piece is stunning, as it’s fine work -- which I believe is from Nepal, but I believe the rings are Tibetan. Not important, as I don’t want to fetishize or obsess over its origin, but credit is due to the artists who made these. It’s great silversmithing.
If you love coral and turquoise like I do, pick this one (or 2) up. You won’t regret it. Be sure to check out our guide on caring for turquoise rings. The coral will be fine, but the turquoise can be damaged if you attempt to clean it, even with silver cleaner.
