This is a gorgeous Kingman cluster ring that’s on the larger side. Many pieces are being made with this hue of blue Kingman turquoise. It’s an intense power blue color with a medium brown matrix. It tends to look nugget-ish (I’m really good at scrabble), which is fresh and exciting.
What does this mean for you? I don’t know, yet. I just really love the color and I’d guess that since you clicked on it and you’re reading this, that you do also. The ring has lots of symmetry but keeps it simple with a more modernist style. Ah ha! I know what this means for you! This means that you can wear this ring with your Americana and Southwestern stuff — denim, plaids, etc. But the modernist look means it works really well with “modern” clothing. You know, most of the stuff at Madewell, Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, and their ilk. Most women’s clothing since the revival in the 1980s.
So I found a way this relates to your possible concerns. It’s a Navajo turquoise ring from the American Southwest, but you can wear it with one of those modernist blouses everyone tries to sell us and we buy in spades. You know, the one with the bow on the shoulder? Yes, you can wear it with that one.
The ring is really awesome.
