I don’t know how old this piece is, but it’s very old. The turquoise is old, the silver is old, and the design old. Which means it’s perfect! I don’t normally clean pieces, I’d say I’ve cleaned maybe 10% of them. This one required some cleaning. It was in a bag somewhere for quite some time. I’ve left the oxidation and features of the piece in place. But it was bent and scratched up. I love pieces like that -- I own several that I will never clean. But I wasn’t too sure if you would. I didn’t use a sonic cleaner or any harsh chemicals. Just jewelers rouge, a lint free cloth, and elbow grease. About an hour later, I think you’d like it.

Vintage pieces like this don’t need to be restored or cleaned. I was torn: Do I offer what I like like I promised, or do I bring out the charm and appeal. I think I’ve done what a curator would do. I left it’s age and detail intact while actually cleaning the piece for presentation. It looked like it was in a bag in a pawn shop for some decades. Which to me is a dream, but I don’t know how others feel about it. I love tarnish, patina, broken in leather jackets, frayed shirts, and such. I’m a little weird that way. But I didn’t clean the charm out of the piece. I don’t recommend doing that. It’s supposed to show its age.

To care for this piece, you only need to polish the cuff itself. Don’t bother with the black portion, as that’s the way it's supposed to be. It’s 56 grams and 2.5 inches in diameter.

56.89g / W 1.9 in. / D 2.5 in.
